Photographers Note
I had visited Stokksnes several times before, but this morning was different. The wind paused, the sky opened with soft pinks and lavenders, and the dunes glowed beneath my feet. I waited, watched, and when the light finally touched the mountains edge, I pressed the shutter. This photograph is about presencethe kind only Iceland offers, where silence meets grandeur.
